Brisa and Jake were in town for a wedding and wanted their engagement pictures taken with mountain views. They nicely met me at 5AM to trek up into the mountains and begin shooting as the sun rose. I had a wonderful time photographing Maddie’s Senior Portraits in Silverthorne this week. She and I chose a beautiful location which I think we were equally as excited to work with! We hiked about 20 minutes up to a wildflower meadow, shot with some incredible mountain views, and spun in the rain. This as a wonderful and memorable shoot. Happy Senior year Maddie!

Every family has a wide variety of personalities, especially when you are dealing with kids. I had the absolute pleasure of documenting the Bruhnke family during their family reunion in Denver. Although I think the parents were a bit skeptical about me capturing any happy moments, I was so happy to deliver a gallery of photos which depicted the individual goofiness and personalities of each family member. Annie called me on father’s day and said “I know this is crazy but we are going to elope on Friday”. I was available and more than happy to drive up to Fort Collins to photograph their wedding/elopement. Their whole family was warm and wonderful, and Annie & David were so gracious to have me tag along to document them getting ready, their trip to the courthouse, and their small backyard wedding. It was a lovely day and I am wishing these two all the best!
